No child requires an external force
to learn to walk upright or to speak his or her mother tongue.
Appropriate models prove to be a strong enough motivator.
It is only the moment in time when a child tackles a new learning
step that differs from child to child. As long as the learning
environment is favourably designed the same applies for math,
reading and writing and other areas of knowledge. Learning
problems often occur through the fact that natural learning
processes were interfered with, hindered or even damaged by
unsuitable learning methods, neglect, pressure, impatience,
and under- or over-challenge, etc.
